The UACCB Adult Education Department seeks to meet adult students' educational needs at the secondary level by providing instruction to those who want to earn a high school diploma through the GED program. Basic skill instruction to prepare for college enrollment or job advancement and English as a Second Language ESL classes for non-English speakers are also offered through the Adult Education grants. These grants allow all adult education classes to be offered free to the public.
This institute builds the capacity of individuals to design and lead adult learning experiences within their school, district or organization. The curriculum helps participants establish learning communities by modeling and advocating collaboration, shared decision making, team learning, calculated risk taking and problem solving. The skills and tools participants learn through this training will aid them in developing agendas and leading professional development, meetings or other adult learning activities.

The center is in the Main Building in Rooms Concurrent enrollment enables students to get a jump on their degree path by gaining college credits while still in high school. Courses taken at the Regional Career Center are full academic credit through your high school. Students are also eligible to receive concurrent college credit for most of our programs.
